I was honored to be a judge for Goldwell's Color Zoom 2012, held yesterday in Baltimore, Maryland. Right after the intense judging, the judges, including members of the press and celebrity stylists (Nick Arrojo, Dimitrios Tsioumas, Rona O'Connor, John Simpson) were treated to a presentation of new launches from both the Goldwell and KMS lines.

John Moroney, Vice President of Education for Goldwell and KMS, took us on a tour of these endeavors which included new Max Reds shades. "These are intense reds with durability and shine," says Moroney. "These include a true bright orange and a deep deep level 6 violet."

Launching in September will be "Dual Senses Green," he says. "This line is 98% organically derived line and sulfate free."

On the KMS, Moroney announced the new IQ Cutting Method. "These are 12 techniques," he says, "Not haircuts. It's pure technique. There are no cookie cutter haircuts derived from the IQ Cutting Method. It's fantastic."

Also included here is a snippet of the presentation from Simon Miller of the KMS Artistic Team who shares details of the IQ Cutting Method.
