Why did you choose beauty? As a third generation stylist, it was in my blood. I learned from my mother and grandmother.

Milestones: Attending, graduating, and following through to get my license, because so many beauty college students do not; becoming a celebrity stylist; creating the Kimble brand—salon, products, hair extensions/pieces)

Big break: The BAPS movie, and being hand-selected by Beyonce’s mom to be the key stylist for Beyonce.

Sacrifice and lesson: Having a social/family life because I was focused on working and building my brand. I learned how to create balance--cultivating an amazing relationship with my son and a strong wealth-building empire for him and generations to come.

Risk and reward: When I began freelancing TV and film, I lost a lot clients, but did not let the fear of the unknown overtake me.

To follow in your footsteps, a woman would have to: Work hard, prepare, do research, pray and be humble, positive and patient

Famous woman you would like to style: Michelle Obama

Next change to my personal style: Adding more color to my all-black wardrobe and more innovative hair styles
