I recently traveled to Argentina for a friend’s wedding. The trip involved 24 hours of travel. We started in Chicago, where we flew to Dallas. Next we caught a 10-hour flight to Buenos Aires.
For some reason, maybe it was the gorgeous weather or something; I was a total nutcase on Saturday.
I had 30 minutes left at the IBS and wanted to see some special people:
Rusk Artists stole the spotlight at the entrance to the IBS with their big beautiful stage, space and talented presentations.
Famed hair designer Orlando Pita was doing demonstrations on the T3 stage. Was there any surprise stylists were lining up to see the latest and greatest in design and then buying the latest and greatest in T3 products and tools?
I remember when I was in junior high (pre-flatiron) I was so nervous that it would rain because, if it did, I was doomed to have a bad hair day.
The first person I saw on the floor of IBS was my good buddy, Nicholas French.

Last night, as I was watching American Idol with the boyfriend, painting my nails with my favorite Eiffel for This Color from OPI’s French Collection, the boyfriend looked over at me and asked, “Do normal people paint their nails everyday?”
It may have been cold outside, but things were really HOT inside the ARROJO STUDIO on Varrick Street in NYC when I went to visit recently.
As you can probably tell from my picture, I wear a lot of eye make-up. It’s the one area of my face I can’t let go natural. I’ve tried, many times: But I can’t do it, won’t do it, no matter what, never, ever, ever. I think it’s genetic.
There are two things in this world I don’t think I could live without.
