Growing up, I was never cool. Maybe not uncool, but I didn’t look anything like the collective consciousness of the time called "cool." Nope, I was just average, nothing extraordinary. And, what a gift average turned out to be.
My take is that waking up pretty is more about sticking to your goals and not confusing luck with getting to that desirable place in life. That great marriage, job, or body? It all comes from sincere effort.
