It went from something that seemed to be happening faraway to a global pandemic that has moved into our communities and is impacting every aspect of our lives. The crisis created by Coronavirus or COVID-19 is having a devastating effect on stylists and their livelihood. One day you’re servicing clients, and the next day local government has ordered a shut down. While not every area is impacted in the same way, navigating through these uncertain times is tricky—so we want to help.

To keep informed, focused, and moving forward, MODERN SALON and PBA (the Professional Beauty Association) in partnership with Ulta Beauty, collaborated on a webinar on Friday, March 20th.  Our panel, ranging from legal experts, advocating for the salon industry in Washington, to a world-renowned salon coach who will help stylists prepare for an uncertain future,  told us what they were working on and how it would be helping stylists and the salon industry.
