Deseray Thiessen (@deseraytee) of Wink Studios, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, is "very passionate about hair and color corrections. I especially enjoy creating new tones with blondes." So when Thiessen met this client, she had the opportunity to exercise her passion. "When my client walked in she had about 2 inches of regrowth. They were a level 7, and her mids to her ends were very brassy."
Here she shares how she changed her to a pretty pale lavender pink:
STEP 1: Lighten with Artego “Lovely lights” with 20 volume. Process for 40 minutes. Rinse and shampoo Do not condition. Towel dry.
STEP 2: Tone with Artego “It's color permanent” 10 pearl 50 mls, 8.1 ash 10 mls, 6F ruby red 2 mls. Then add 62 mls of 10 volume. Process for 15 minutes. Rinse.
STEP 3: Add Artego “My color reflex plum” (color enhancer) to the conditioner and work though the hair, from the roots to the ends. Comb though. Process for 2 minutes, then rinse.
