Scruples offers many opportunities to the professional who comes on board as a Scruples salon. In just the first six months, Scruples salons receive in-salon product knowledge education, on-demand video education and the option to easily qualify for Scruples.

What is your most popular color education class or experience?

Scruples Training for Tomorrow program is only offered at Scruples Academy corporate headquarters in Minnesota. This program invites stylists to experience our product portfolio in a fun, hands-on and informative way. We kick off the training with a cocktail party, which then leads into three days of education, runway shows and model demonstrations with top artists. Stylists also have the opportunity to meet and mingle with the ownership team of Scruples throughout the training. The program finishes with an exciting event of hands-on training with live models for participants. Upon completion, stylists go back into their salons feeling educated and energized to showcase their new skills.

What color classes does Scruples offer at its advanced academy?

Scruples Academy offers a complete journey of education for stylists and salons. There are a wide range of courses across the country offered through our Scruples distributors. All of these classes include hands-on sessions with mannequin heads. Color courses include Color by Design: Color Basics, Color by Design: Blonding, Self- Tour of Hair color, and The Art of Hairpainting. Scruples also offers Global Design Artistry, an advanced academy class available exclusively at our corporate headquarters. This event takes stylists through the self-tour concept and applies it to live models in a hands-on setting.

What business-building education does Scruples offer salons?

Scruples offers two programs offering stylists the opportunities to build their business:

• The $1,000 Cup of Coffee: Developed by Scruples Design Team member Chris Venesky. This one-day program takes the stylist on a journey of personal growth and development to take on the challenges that occur every day behind the chair, while learning how to turn $1 into $1,000 with key business-building techniques.
• Scruples Keys to $alon $uccess: A program that teaches stylists the keys to unlock their business potential and reduce operating costs. Through the development of business ideas that set them apart, stylists learn how to develop the type of clientele they’ve always wanted to have.

What products or range of color is generating the most buzz heading into fall?

Right now, the color craze that has been seeing great social media success are the powerful purple and blue hues. In response to this buzz, we have developed a series of creative blend shades utilizing our new True Integrity Opalescent Creme Colour Purple Intensifier. This Creative Blends kit combines the Purple Intensifier with other shades in the True Integrity system, to offer stylists a new purple palette that can be applied over pre-lightened hair, with shades ranging from lavender to orchid and denim.
