Drivers of Success, a business training program from Prosper U by Eric Fisher and just adapted for Healthy Hairdresser sponsor Pivot Point, teaches new salon professionals the real-world skills salon owners look for in a new hire, from setting goals and tracking progress to mastering the fine points of the “R’s”—retailing, retention, rebooking and referrals. Developed by Eric Fisher of Eric Fisher Salons and Academy, Wichita, Kansas, the program will be available on Pivot Point’s digital learning platform, Learn About Beauty (LAB). The LAB platform engages students with different learning styles while merging social interaction with learning strategies and advancing beauty business education with the latest technology.

“We are thrilled to partner with Prosper U,” says Jennifer Eckstein, Pivot Point’s senior director of global marketing and business development. “It is our mutual responsibility to empower the next generation of prepared salon professionals. Together, LAB and Prosper U give students the resources to become industry leaders.”

Fisher sees the partnership as a win for students. “We are so excited about this relationship and honored to partner with such a legendary company,” he says. “Coupling the business and soft skills of our Drivers of Success Program with the technical genius of Pivot Point will provide students with the ultimate in education and help them to get and retain great jobs. We look forward to the growth of Prosper U and will continue adding value to our schools and students in every way possible.”
