By simply scrolling through Franco Hernandez's page (if you haven't already, you should!), one of the first things you notice is his love and master of bright, vibrant hues. Not only is Hernandez able to blend a multitude of bright colors into a seamless creation, but he's also able to combine each colored look with the perfect styling to accentuate it further.

Pro tips: Take the time to polish your work, treat every session like it’s editorial. Take tons of picks you never know which will be your money shot ‘til you go back and look at with fresh eyes.
Hidden talent (beauty-related): I can do nails! Early in my career I did nail services as a way to grow my clientele as many sat waiting for walk-ins I saw the nail department of the salon always busy and I used that as a way to connect with people. As a new stylist I was fully booked my first year. Later when I relocated to another state I went back to doing gel polish services and it worked for me once again.
Hidden talent: I am a karaoke superstar. I come from a family of musicians, I never took on an instrument yet I could carry a vocal tune in a five-octave range. I would place first at talent shows yet I was very shy as a teen I would always be too nervous, but as I got older Karaoke was great outlet.
How social media changed my life: I come from a time when social platforms were nonexistent and it has rejuvenated my career in a way I never thought possible. I was able to show the world my greatest passion and now help other artists.
The first time I was featured on MODERN’s Insta: I can remember scrolling my feed and boom I saw my work for the first time of a transformation I did then I realized it was on @modernsalon—I was over the moon. It was then I realized social media is going to change the beauty industry worldwide.
