Editorial and Celebrity Hair Stylist, Giannandrea whose roster of clients include Naomi Watts, Megan Fox and Scarlett Johansson, worked his magic on Naomi Watt’s hair for the 71st annual Golden Globes using Macadamia Natural Oil products.
Watts wore her long bob (LOB) sleek and straight with a side-part for a super-chic look to compliment her embellished retro halter gown with sheer side cut outs by Tom Ford. “We opted for a straight blowout to feed off the sexiness and edginess of her dress,” Giannandrea explained. To get her hair red carpet ready, Giannandrea had Watts prep hair the night before with Flawless, Macadamia Natural Oil’s cleansing conditioner. Flawless "cleanses, conditions, cuts blow dry time in half, detangles, enhances volume and eliminates frizz."
“To compliment the dress, I needed to create a lot of shine in hair and Macadamia Natural Oil’s Healing Oil Spray is the perfect product to do so,” says Giannandrea. Healing Oil Spray leaves hair silky and ultra-conditioned, without weighing it down – the perfect pre-blowout gloss that adds that extra bit of sheen. He then dried full head of hair with a large round bristle brush to enhance shine and increase manageability.
Giannandrea continued by separating the hair into 1-inch sections and flat ironing. Before pressing flat iron through hair, he gently sprayed Control hairspray on each section to stay in place. To increase overall shine of hair Giannandrea finished by running his fingers through Naomi Watt’s hair with heated Macadamia Natural Oil Healing Oil Treatment to put the final touch on her beautiful look.
THE "SIMPLE" STEPS:
STEP 1: Cleanse and condition with Macadamia Natural Oil's Flawless the night before.
STEP 2: Spray hair with Macadamia Natural Oil's Healing Oil Spray before blow-drying.
STEP 3: Blow-dry hair with large round bristle brush.
STEP 4: Separate 1-inch sections of hair and spray with Control hairspray before flatironing the entire head.
STEP 5: Finish the look by running fingers through hair with Macadamia Natural Healing Oil Treatment.
