Zane Zvinkle (Hair.By.Zane), a freelance artist based at La Coco Beauty Salon, Ramsgate, UK, caught our eye with this gorgeous makeover and says, "I never back down from a challenge!"
About this makeover, Zvinkle says, "This was the client's first time in a salon after years of using box dyes. She asked for a nice bright red, and we decided to go for a balayage effect, keeping her roots a rich chocolate brown."
Here he shares the details for the new look:
Step 1: Using Wella Blondor Freelights 30vol + Olaplex, apply throughout the hair using a balayage technique. Process for 50 minutes.
Step 2: Apply Olaplex No 2 treatment and process for 20 minutes.
Step 3: Tone as follows: Root formula: 1:1 Affinage 5.036 + dash of 5.76 with 10vol + Olaplex
Mid-lengths: 1:1 Affinage b:Red Magenta with 10 vol + Olaplex
Ends: 1:1 Affinage b:Red Red Violet with 10 vol + Olaplex
Process for 30 minutes.
Step 4: Apply Olaplex No 2 treatment for 10 minutes.
Step 5: Finish with a cut and curl and Wella Oil Reflections.
