Nick Arrojo and his eponymous brand are putting on a night of pure celebration for the hairdressing elite. All are invited. Tickets cost $20 and are still available for purchase.
“We’ve been to Chicago every season for a decade,” says Arrojo. “We’ve starred at the show, put on Expo, held business-building seminars, and had some great nights out with this wonderful community of hairdressers. We felt this year was perfect for a night of pure celebration. Our After Party is for professionals to come together, meet new friends, listen to inspiring music, and have memorable times. It’s also a great excuse for me to go digging in my record crates!”
Did you know? Before Nick Arrojo was a legendary hairdresser, he was a legendary DJ. While a stylist at Vidal Sassoon in Manchester, England, he became the resident DJ at the Hacienda, one of the world’s most infamous and influential clubs. As the acid house scene took off, he DJ’d alongside the likes of Laurent Garnier and Sasha. Have a listen to Nick in the mix (in 1990!), here and here.
