Beauty Changes Lives has launched its “Make Your Mark” campaign which aims to transform traditional perceptions about careers in beauty and raise awareness of the career opportunities, possibilities and potential available to licensed beauty professionals.
COTY and Ratner Companies have both partnered with the campaign, COTY pledged $100,000 while Ratner Companies contributed $25,000. It is endorsed by the Beauty Changes Lives board of directors, representing some of the most respected names in beauty. Beauty Changes Lives and its partners aim to raise $1 million by 2020 to fund the first phase of the campaign launching January 2020.
The campaign is hoping to spread consumer awareness by enacting a microsite that features micro-influencers, stories, and trends. It will also be posting strategically placed outdoor postings near cosmetology schools. The campaign will also be posted across all social media with ads targeted at Generation Z young adults on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
The campaign aims to highlight the growing business of beauty professionals. Phil Horvath, president of Ratner Companies and a member of the Beauty Changes Lives board of directors says the "Make Your Mark" campaign is an opportunity for the industry to come together in support of its future.
