For four years, the Aquage team has collaborated with MODERN
to create a stunning cover for our March issue. This year, our
collaboration was selected from a series Aquage created exclusively
for America's Beauty Show.
For two days, the Aquage team, led by Vice President of Creative and
photographer Luis Alvarez, worked with the team from America's Beauty
Show and MODERN Editor Laurel Nelson on location at McCormick Place.
"It wasn't until the first time I stepped into McCormick Place when
it was totally empty that I realized how truly beautiful and inspiring the
place really is," said Alvarez, who was the photographer of the shoot.
"The scale of the building is so impressive, yet the attention to detail
and the delicacy of each individual component in combination with the
massive works of art that fill the walls is exquisitely sublime. I can't think
of a more inspirational place to have an artists' gathering."
Following the shoot, the Aquage team embarked on a national tour to
create their first editorial shoot for Biomega-the newest line of products
from Aquage. To see the exclusive photos from shoots in Miami, New York
City, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Denver and Austin, Texas, see "Design Matters."
