Brows and face shape are not independent of each other; Boom Boom Brow Bar shares tips on the best brows for a square face.
As any brow aficionado will tell you, brows and face shape are most certainly not independent of each other. So are there rules to stick to when shaping brows to the face?

"Absolutely," says Boom Boom, owner of Boom Boom Brow Bar in New York. "You can highlight the good and detract from the bad features with the right set of brows."
Because square faces are about the same width and height (think Keira Knightley or Olivia Wilde), Boom Boom advises a well-defined, angular arch to draw attention up and away from the jaw of a square face.
If you need help finding where the arch should be, the space between the brows should be the same or a little wider than the width of an eye. Boom Boom suggests the Boom Boom Push Up brow highlighting pencil for the perfect brow.
PERFECT BROWS IN 3 STEPS

STEP 1: Hold the brush parallel to the side of the nose. The point where the brush meets the brow is where the brow should begin.
STEP 2: For the arch, hold the brush parallel to the outside edge of the colored part of the eye (the iris). The point where the brush meets the brow is where the highest part of the arch should be.
STEP 3: Extend the brush diagonally from he nostril and follow the outside edge of the eye toward the brow. Where the inside edge of the brush hits is where the brow should end.
