I received an array of Carol’s Daughter products, from their new Black Vanilla Collection to the new Macadamia Collection. All have very beneficial moisturizing benefits–primarily because of the oil ingredients in each.
I received an array of Carol’s Daughter products, from their new Black Vanilla Collection to the new Macadamia Collection. All have very beneficial moisturizing benefits–primarily because of the oil ingredients in each.
Here's a little about the products I have tried lately:

(Top left to right) Monoi Repairing Conditioner, Lisa's Hair Elixir; Black Vanilla Leave-in Conditioner; (Bottom left to right) Black Vanilla Moisturizing Hair Smoothie; Healthy Hair Butter
The Black Vanilla Collection moisturizes dry, over-worked hair while protecting it from heat styling wear-and-tear. The collection comes in a moisturizing shampoo, moisturizing conditioner, moisturizing smoothie (deep conditioner), and heat styling hair spray.
The Macadamia Styling Collection protects against heat, controls frizz and adds shine to the hair. I tried out three products from this line–the first was the Finishing Shine Mist, which adds a layer of lightweight shine. The blend of Macadamia and Safflower Oils moisturize and condition the hair without water or alcohol.
The second I tried was the Heat Setting Foam. Made from Macadamia Oil and Honey Extract, this product helps wet style your hair without any flaky, crunchy or sticky residue. Perfect for roller-setting, molding or wrapping hair.
The third product was the Heat Styling Hair Spray—not only does it provide a medium hold, it helps seal split ends! (Apply to damp hair.)

Lisa's Hair Elixir conditions and moisturizes the scalp with a blend of Peppermint and Sage Essential Oils. Basically squeeze a small amount into your hands and rub together. Massage oil into scalp and hair for added shine.
The Monoi Repairing Conditioner has one of my favorite oils in it—Monoi, which not only has a wonderful scent but it, is an age-old nourishing blend of Tahitian Tiare Gardenia Flower and Coprah Coconut oil. It also contains Bamboo water and Pro-vitamin B5 to help fortify distressed hair against breaks and snaps.
Healthy Hair Butter: Just like it says, it’s butter for your hair! This nourishing cream is like a haidress. It contains Jojoba oil with cocoa and shea butters to deeply condition the hair so it can be stronger and more manageable. This product is made without Mineral Oil or Petroleum hair will have a natural shine but not become greasy or weighed down.
