STEP 1: Starting in the occipital area with a vertical channel of hair held out from the head, point-cut to create a textured guideline.

STEP 3: Use a small channel from the completed back section as a guideline for the top section, and create a square layer.
STEP 4: Blend in any corners and weight lines by point-cutting around the curve of the head.
