Ashley Dorr (@ashleyatzenful) who works at Zenful Day Spa and Salon of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho had quite a challenge. "Alexis came in to see me to get rid of her 'at home' ombre job," says Dorr. "I am not sure exactly what was used so it was even more difficult." Dorr and Alexis agreed on an all over red.
Here she offers the HOW TO:
Step 1 : Prelighten the hair. Apply 1.5:1 ratio of 20 volume developer and Paul Mitchell Synchro Lift at the new growth and the ends.
Step 2 : Apply 1.5:1 40 volume developer and Paul Mitchell Synchro Lift through the mid-shaft.
Step 3 : Process to a level 7. Shampoo the hair. Do not condition ("To keep the cuticle open.")
Step 4 : Apply equal parts of Purple and Magenta Pravana for the root area.
Step 5: Th en apply equal parts of Red and Magenta for the rest of the hair.
Step 6: Process with heat for 30 minutes and then rinse from the hair.
