Madison Roulan (@mads_hair) of L'appartement Hair Boudoir, NYC, says her client ran to the salon after a little DIY blonding experiment. " As you can see her hair was patchy from self application. She came into see me to fix it," says Roulan. Here she shares the details for the correction: Step 1: Apply Wella Blondor with 30vol (with Olaplex added) one inch off the root at the darker regrowth. Process for about 20 minutes. Do not rinse. Step 2 Apply the same formula to the root area. Process for an additional 20 minutes. Do not rinse yet. Step 3: Pull through to the ends and process for an additional 10 minutes. Shampoo. Step 4: Tone with Wella T11 with 20vol for 5-7 minutes and continue with an Olaplex treatment, applying step 2 for 20 minutes. Shampoo.
