What's trending for spring? After a cold, closed-up winter, blooming hair colors are popping up everywhere.
Laila Pettersen (@laila.wella), a Wella Educator and self-described “hair geek!” showcases bright, brilliant work on her Instagram feed. What we love is how she takes a theme—in this case, lilac—and conducts a veritable color case study. Laila shares an inspiration photo, her formula, she will follow up with the color weeks later so we see the graceful fadeout, and she captures the color in full motion, with tons of video content.
This lovely lilac (or lavender, or perfect purple—you name it!), was created using Koleston Perfect. And after a couple weeks, it softened to a vintage lavender that is equally lovely.
"I didn’t refresh her color as I thought it still looked gorgeous after two weeks fade!" Laila says of the fadeout, above. "Koleston Perfect fades soo pretty don’t you think? I sometimes think the colour is better after a few washes, it kinda settles in better!"
