"Playing with Goldwell's Pure Pigments allowed me to create this gorgeous Chambray Peach beauty," Ghaisarzadeh says. "I choose to color boost Goldwell's Colorance shades for intensity to achieve a look with vibrant brilliance."
When we sent Artist Connective member Gerilyn Ghaisarzadeh, a colorist out of Winter Park, Florida, Goldwell's new color additive Pure Pigments, she almost immediately recruited models to see the shine-enhancing, color boosting effects for herself.
"I had a blast customizing these formulas for multi-melt magic," Ghaisarzadeh shared in her Instagram postsshowcasing her results. "It’s amazing how you can literally see each color pigment sitting side-by-side next to each other. This is intense color!"
Pure Pigments are designed to be mixed seamlessly into your Goldwell formulas to create tone-on-tone boosting, holographic effects, more vibrancy and greater longevity of color.
For these looks, Ghaisarzadeh chose to color boost her Goldwell Colorance shades using Pure Pigments to achieve looks with vibrant brilliance.
"I’m obsessed with the blue!" she says.
Goldwell explains that the Pure Pigments don’t mix together — they sit next to each other on the hair so that each dye reflects its own color.
Pure Yellow, Pure Orange, Pure Red, and Pure Violet create a vibrant effect while Pearl Blue and Matte Green soften and counteract unwanted tones.
"Pure Pigments allowed me to punch up these pastels and give me a more vibrant color that I love to paint," she says.
