Salon professionals entering the show floor at America’s Beauty Show March 3-5 were greeted by a giant Facebook Wall—actually, a white board where CosmoProf (BSG) was recruiting attendees to literally sign on for the company’s texting program that debuted a few months ago. The concept is simple and very au courant, and judging from the names on the board (including mine), lots of people were checking out the details and taking advantage of the program.
To opt in, attendees clicked on the QR code with their smart phones or tablets, registered and were alerted by text message of special deals being offered by Cosmoprof vendors selling on the ABS show floor.
It’s a great way to find out about show deals, but the Cosmoprof Mobile Connect Program goes beyond shows to keep salon professionals aware of product specials, events or classes available through their local Cosmoprof store location. Opting in to the program also facilitates access to Cosmoprof’s social media sites. In short, it is easy, fun and will keep you connected to your CosmoProf partners.
