It's the type of 'before' that stops you mid-scroll.  When we saw this color intervention that Urbana, OH hairdresser Lauren Cage (@LC_DOESHAIR) performed for her client, we wanted to first applaud her and. second, ask what she used to correct what she calls "a crazy, colorful palette."

FORMULA and PROCESS (Note: Lauren used Olaplex #1 with every step.)

STEP ONE: Filled her hair with 5RC plus 10 volume.

STEP TWO: Lifted the ends with Wella Lightener and equal parts water and then rinsed.

STEP THREE: Applied 1N from roots to mid shaft, melted blue from Kenra Creatives in the midshaft to the ends. Let it process and then for the last five minutes pulled excess 1N down thru the blue to create a smokey effect.

STEP FOUR: Finish with Olaplex #2.
