Brown is a believer in the power of Light Dimensions. "I've been loving Silk Lift Lightener," she says, mentioning the great results achieved, even for a guest starting at level 1 hair who had never had highlights before. "I didn't even tone those bad boys, and the highlights came out nice, even and cool," Brown said of this Light Dimensions technique:
For her level 1 guest, Brown used Silk Lift Control in Ash, which lifts up to 5-7 levels, she explains, saying it was perfect for what she wanted to achieve. She chose to mix with 10 volume developer because she didn't need extremely light results.
"It delivers a really nice, gentle lift, and I added a bit of Silk Lift Serum to make sure the hair is protected."
