Daniel Roldan: Going Blonde

1 min to read

When Nicholas French learned his friend wanted a major hair cut and an 18-year-old student wanted to go blonde, he recruited them as models for our special makeover issue. French asked colleague and fellow Matrix Global Artistic Designer Daniel Roldan to offer his color expertise.

The second model, Chrissy, had a more dramatic color change in mind. Although she wanted to go platinum, Roldan decided it would be too extreme on her natural Level-3 shade. Instead, he lifted the base three to four levels and used two different shades for highlights.
