It's our last day in Las Vegas for Beacon-I miss home and my baby but I'm here and I feel like this is where I belong. Today we get to wear our Beacon shirts-now everyone will really recognize us! We attended some more seminars and got to hear from more industry people such as Susan Scott and the NAHA press conference and how they are making over this industry. It's nice to know that people are working around the clock to get the beauty industry voices heard.

Showfloor Experience This is exciting-we are going on the PBA Cosmoprof showfloor to checkout the different distributors and some of the cool new products that have been created! I got a 3D art tattoo-of course it's only temporary! I got to bling out my hair with some hair glitz tinsel and also spoke with some of the guys from Cinderella Hair-they are trying to get some classes set up with schools-I hope it's soon!
Beacon Students Only Brig Van Osten from Shear Genius 3 has paid us a surprise visit-she is so beautiful and graceful her hard work and dedication has paid off. Oh, we got Paul Mitchell bags with DVDs-I can't wait to check these out.
OMG we actually get to meet with the Beacon Alumni Panel-they are sharing some very inspirational stories. I got to speak with Tuyen "twixxy" Fran and exchange cards. I share the same dream with her of what she is doing, like working in the entertainment industry and how she got started. This meant a lot to me because it will help me with my goals.
I also greeted the whole pane-it was great! It's good to know that the next generation of professionals are doing great things for themselves and others and also knowing that they started where we all were sitting.
OOOOhhhh more gift bags!! And this one is from Aveda-we got flatirons!!!!! and products more products-can't have enough of that!
geno-and-dom
Geno is speaking again what a wonderful person he definitely has my full attention. This is the closing of the Beacon sessions: That man is so full of passion it's just floating off of him.
The closing session is here, we are taking group pictures and I get my picture taken individually for being a Beacon winner. I loved my whole learning experience but this topped it off because I was recognized as a individual.
I will take all that I learned and all the people that I met into consideration so I, as well, may become as successful as them. This has been a great opportunity. I won't say goodbye because I will be back soon! So, until next time....
