Starting canvas: level 4 natural regrowth of about 5 inches with ends of a faded purple that had been previously lightened to a level 8.

Step 1: Using Formula A, pre-lighten regrowth only starting in front and ending in the back, keeping 1/2 inch off scalp.

Step 2: Using Formula A, pull through mids to ends and fully saturate the hair. Separate the sections with meche.

Step 3: Using Formula A, apply on roots that were left out at the beginning. Begin at the front working toward the back.

Step 4: Allow to process about 20-30 minutes at room temperature. Constantly check the hair to make sure integrity isn't being compromised.

Step 5: Once hair is a level 9 all over, shampoo with a clarifying shampoo, ("I used Bumble & bumble Sunday Shampoo.") Do not condition. Dry hair completely.

Step 6: Starting in the front (working from the bottom to top) take slightly diagonal back to back sections to create a fashion color melt.  Use Mix 1 for roots, melt into mix  2, alternate  mixes 3-5 for ends through each section. Repeat in back.

Step 7: Process for 15 minutes. Rinse with COLD water. Do NOT shampoo again, condition only.
