FASHION WEEK: Moroccanoil at Rachel Zoe

The effortless heavily textured braid at Rachel Zoe was a hit, courtesy Antonio Corral Calero for Moroccanoil. The nails, by Sunshine for Maybelline, added icing to the cake.

Antonio Corral Calero (for Moroccanoil) created breathtaking braids for the Rachel Zoe SS 2014 collection, presented at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. "It is a safari theme," says Calero. "I wanted it as effortless as possible with little fly-aways to make it sexy. It's simple but not overpowering." The exotic glamour, created by Calero and team,  blended classic with contemporary inspired by a windswept adventure and subtle tribal details. The deconstructed braid looked natural...styled "on-the'go" and waved by the elements. Pre-textured strands were criss-crossed and tucked into the back and inside of the braid. The look was created with Moroccanoil Root Boost and the new Moroccanoil Molding Cream (both launched at Fashion Week!), allowing for the texture, volume and movement.

The nails by Sunshine (for Maybelline), were equally simple. Mixing two nudes, Sunshine says "It is tasteful and elegant with a touch of pink." For shape, Sunshine says manicurists should look at the nail bed and let that dictate the shape for the client, "But an oval or round is always good."
