During New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2014, Sexy Hair was in the midst of the action. Kicking off its participation, Sexy Hair was at the Charlotte Ronson Spring/Summer 2014 presentation at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week on September 7th at Lincoln Center.

‘Inspired by ‘the Parisian girl in New York,’ the looks radiated chic effortless style and playfulness,” said Rafe Hardy, Artistic Director for Sexy Hair. “Using products such as our new Spray Clay, Soy Touchable and Dry Shampoo, our artists created styles that serve as go-to looks every girl should have in her beauty repertoire this spring.”

Later that week, Sexy Hair artists were once again backstage. This time, they served as the exclusive hair style team for an Emerging Designer Showcase with Jennifer Chun at The Glass Houses in NYC. Centered on Fun, Fearless Fashion; the event featured looks from the designer’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection. The hairstyles mirrored the designer’s geek-chic and playful style.

The team created easy, sophisticated styles using Big Sexy Hair Spray Clay  to provide texture, fullness and control in an easy to apply can. Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Touchable, the weightless hairspray provided shine and buildable hold while the Big Sexy Hair Volumizing Dry Shampoo gave a good foundation for models’ hair and some extra oomph.

The company’s presence wasn’t limited to just one area. Images of the new Sexy Hair advertising campaign featuring new celebrity ambassador; global hair icon Marilyn Monroe, lit up the night sky as they were projected all over town. The campaign was launched recently at The Plaza hotel also in New York City.
