Nick Irwin, TIGI Creative Director, creates beautiful hair for fashion shows in all of the major markets around the world. For the Walter Baker presentation, shown tonight at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in NYC, he decided to create what he calls "the ultimate hair". "It's a younger, more accessible line," he says. "Walter teamed up with Skull Candy head phones and it got a bit tricky. The clothing is eclectic and bright. The hair had to be able to carry everything. It's the hair everyone wants. Long, clean, glossy and high end. It was a perfect fit for this presentation."

I only had Nick for a couple of minutes and decided to ask him what everyone asks ME...."how does a salon professional get on a team to do fashion week." Nick offers some great advice: "Really get yourself out there," he says. "Get involved with a brand that participates in fashion shows. Make sure to let people KNOW you want to do it."
