Celebrating the first-ever Cosmoprof press conference in New York City on June 28th, representatives from Cosmoprof Worldwide and Professional Beauty Association gave a sneak peek of what Cosmoprof North America will offer this year in terms of educational conferences, special events, and everything beauty. The event this year is trying to be more than just a B2B trade show, but more of a setting where beauty and trends are brought to life.

So what are some of the highlights you can expect this year?
First of all, there will be 730 total exhibitors (that's 4 percent higher than 2010's numbers) of which 205 will be international exhibitors (2 percent higher than 2010). Within 15,000 meters of space, the show will consist of four pavilions Sunday, July 31 to Tuesday, August 2, 2011:

Pavilion B: Packaging, Contact Manufacturing and Private Label
Pavilion C: Wellness & Spa
Pavilion D: Professional Hair, Nails and Tools
Best Beauty Retailers in Las Vegas Tour: This custom field trip will bring participants to a variety of retail establishments both on and off the famous Las Vegas Strip. It's an opportunity for independent store owners as well as international visitors to get acquainted with U.S. retailing concepts. The tour will take place and end at the Mandalay Bay Hotel.

Behind Beauty Blogging:This panel of beauty editors will discuss what's new in the world of beauty and how beauty editors typically prefer to receive product pitches on a daily basis.
