"Her hair was mostly natural from a grown out ombre."
STEP 1: Start with Schwarzkopf Blondme lightener with 30 volume and Olaplex. Apply in a heavy balayage close to the root throughout the hair, leaving out the previously lightened pieces at the ends. Cover with a processing cap and process to a level 8. Right before it was done processing, pull the lightener through the ends. Rinse.
STEP 2: Prepare Pravana Vivids formula: Green, Blue, Black, Clear and Neon Green. For the roots (and the few occasional pieces brought down through the midshaft) apply Green, Blue, and a dash of Black. For the midshaft and ends apply a mixture of Green, Blue, Clear, Neon Green, and a touch of Black. Test the color during the mixing process on a paper towel to check for desired shade.
STEP 3: Process for 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water and style.
