Sami Schneider (@samihairmagic), a Color Specialist at House of Color, Colorado Springs, CO says "I received a message on Facebook from a girl who is expecting and wanted to color her hair pink if she was having a girl and blue if she was having a boy. I was so excited because I've always been wanting to do some gender reveal hair!! She found out she was having a girl and was beyond thrilled. Pink hair it is. I was so excited to be part of such an amazing moment for her and her family and friends."
Here Schneider shares the HOW TO for her "revealing" pink shade:
Step 1: Using all Color Intensity colors from Joico, apply to root: Magenta and Wild Orchid (1:1).
Step 2: Hand melt the remaining pieces with:
-Pink & Hot Pink (1:1)
-Soft Pink and Light Purple (diluted with Clear)
-a few Magenta pieces
Step 3: Process for 25 minutes.
Step 4: Prep with Joico K-PAK Color Therapy Restorative Styling Oil and style with Joico Heat Protectant and Joico Dry Oil Spray.
