"I collaborated with Ariel on this as far as inspiration," Tabitha Dueñas said. "Some of her reference photos included Jessica Chastain. We wanted it to be vibrant, but still natural."
Tabitha Dueñas veered on the more copper side of the red spectrum (rather than violet) in order to fit Winter's personal style. She adds for Winter's style and skin tone, dark brunette, bright blonde, or intense red are her best bets--nothing in between.
The final color result was created using the following formulas:

"My hidden secret for perfecting color is keeping it healthy," Tabitha Dueñas says. "I use bond builders every step of the way, spraying the hair with Joico Defy Damage before color and adding Olaplex to every formula. Also using treatment based conditioners with every rinse.
