Get Jennifer's trademark J Lo Glow! David Maderich provides MODERN with his take on how to properly "luminize" the skin.
Jennifer Lopez has a lot to glow about.

Not only does she have a top 10 billboard hit, she also reigns supreme on the juggernaut that is American Idol. You glow girl.
Your clients may not be able to trade quips with Steven Tyler, but you can give her Jennifer’s trademark J Lo Glow – it’s one of my most requested looks in my photography makeup classes – (next class April 18th in NYC).
First and foremost, leave the powder products on the counter – this face is all about moist, dewy skin. The J Lo Glow starts with a rich moisturizing foundation – look for brands that have “luminize” or “hydrating” on the label.
After applying foundation with a damp sponge, add a bright pink cream blush to the apples of the cheeks and blend, blend, blend. Next, use a shimmery cream bronzer on the cheekbones and temples. Finally, apply a gold luminizer/highligher to the cheekbones, brow bones, down the center of the nose, on your cupids bow and in the inner corners of the eyes. And don’t forget to add a touch of gold to her shoulders, collarbones and décolage. Instant glow.
Miss Jenny from the block doesn’t leave home without her false eyelashes, so why should your client. To get Jenny’s smokey sparkly eyes, read on.
Smudge a black pencil on the upper lash line and add a few individual eyelash clusters to the outer corners: instant J Lo cat eye. Blend a gold cream shadow onto the eyelids and add a hefty dose of black mascara.
To complete the J Lo Glow add a pale pink frost-free lip-gloss.
Now twirl your client out of your chair and tell her to go out and dance the night away. FFI for my Photography Makeup classes, go to www.davidmaderich.com.
