Mark Debolt, Top Artist for Wella Professionals and colorist at Marie Robinson Salon in NYC, came to the Water Street Studio for a photoshoot to demonstrate Wella's new color.id additive, what Debolt describes as "a haircolor revolution. It allows me to freehand paint different shades, side by side. I can twist, bend or mold and the colors do not blend."

In addition to being impressed at his artistry, MODERN was equally impressed at his organization and preparation. In this short video, Debolt offers an overview of color.id and tells us why it's important to "plan, prepare, draw, plan plan and plan" for every shoot and session.
