When creating this look, Wojciech Jewula, GKhair art director, Poland, was inspired by indigo to create panels beyond the color spectrum with red, copper, yellow, violet, blue and ash, using GKhair color.
FORMULA AND APPLICATION
Natural level 5
Formula 1: GKhair Lightening Powder with GKhair 30-volume cream developer in equal parts
Formula 2: Equal parts GKhair 4.2 (.70 oz) + 6.22 (.70 oz) with 20-volume developer (2.1 oz)
Formula 3: GKhair Red Mixtone (.55 oz) with 20-volume developer (.83 oz)
Formula 4: Copper Mixtone (.45 oz) with 20-volume developer (.67 oz)
Formula 5: Violet Mixtone (.50 oz) with 20-volume developer (.75 oz)
Formula 6: Blue Mixtone (.55 oz) with 20-volume developer (.83 oz)
Formula 7: Ash Mixtone (.45 oz) with 20-volume developer (.67 oz)
Formula 8: Yellow Mixtone (.45 oz) with 20-volume developer (.67 oz)
THE STEPS:
1. Pre-lighten six or more left side panels with Formula 1, securing with foils. Process 45 minutes.
2. After 15 minutes of processing, apply Formula 2 to the rest of hair as a new base and process 30 minutes. Shampoo, rinse and dry hair.
3. Apply Formulas 3-8 on the pre-lightened panels from front to back. Process 25 minutes.
