In an in-depth, seminar featuring Temptu’s Nick Posley at The Makeup Show Chicago, Posley shared with MODERN how to create the perfect complexion using airbrush cosmetics. In the class, participants were taught how to use this makeup technique to advance their careers.
To achieve this look, Posley gave us the rundown.
STEP 1: Start with 10-12 drops of Temptu Airpod foundation. This amount allows for additional coverage if necessary.Using small circle like motions, start applying the product just below the jawline and work upwards. Keep a palm’s length distance away from the face to control the coverage more easily.
STEP 2: Create a contour color using a shade or two darker than the foundation. Start at the hair line just below the cheek and work slowly into the face. Use a light hand to ensure an even coverage. If you add too much, use a damp sponge to soften the area. Continue to contour around the temple and the center of the chin.
STEP 3: Angling the airbrush gun slighlty downward, apply a peachy color to the cheek. Turn down the pressure and apply the same color to the lips as a stain.
STEP 4: Complete the look with Invisble Difference Finishing Powder on the center of the face.
