THE VISION: “I love pairing a classic shape with a vibrant shade like this eye-popping, dimensional Rubine Red.”

FORMULAS/APPLICATION

Formula 1: Organic Color Systems, 1 oz. 7BC + 1 oz. 7FR + ½ oz. Red intensifier + ½ oz. XBO with 3 oz. 30-volume

Hairmonics Turbo Developer

Formula 2: ½ oz. 8BC + ¼ oz. 7RC + ¼ oz. XBO with 1oz. 30-volume Hairmonics Turbo Developer

Formula 3: ½ oz. 7MH + ¼ oz. XBR + ½ oz. XBV with 1¼ oz. 30-volume Hairmonics Turbo Developer

STEP 1: Create 3 small triangles on the top of the head. Position one toward the top back and the other two slightly off

center. This will allow the color to peak through a classic bob and change its appearance when the part is shifted.

STEP 2: Alternate Formulas 2 and 3 within the triangles. First, create two back-to-back slices of Formula 2, then repeat with Formula 3. For some slices, apply formula from scalp to ends; for a few others, meld both formulas within one foil. Pivot through all 3 triangles in this manner.

STEP 3: Immediately apply Formula 1 to all remaining hair. Process 10 minutes with heat, then at room temperature for an additional 5 minutes.
