How To Get Michelle William’s Oscar Face

Michelle Williams was a vision in coral at the Oscars. Her edgy, yet romantic Louis Vuitton gown put her on every fashionista’s best dressed list. But her dress was only part of the story–her stunning glowing make-up was the icing on the cake.

How to get Michelle’s face?

Start with clean and moisturized skin and apply a luminescent primer on the high points of the face – bridge of nose, chin, brow bones and high on the cheekbones.  Next, using a flat brush,  apply a creamy foundation only to areas that need coverage. If you need additional coverage, use concealer sparingly.  To add a dash of color to the face, swirl a dab of cream coral blush on the apples of the cheeks and blend upwards.   Add a light dusting of loose powder to set the make-up–but go lightly, keep the skin glowing.

Eyes are softy lined in dark brown powder -both upper and lower lids. For added drama, add short and medium individual eyelashes for a soft and feminine doe-eyed effect. Apply two coats of black mascara to fuse the faux and real lashes together.  Eyebrows are kept soft, yet defined with a neutral colored powder or pencil.

Bold coral lips take center stage on the face. For full lips like Michelle’s, no lip pencil is needed–use a brush and carefully fill in the mouth with color. For thinner lips, a matching coral pencil is needed to give the mouth definition. Add a drop of coral gloss to complete the glowing effect.

Now go and hit that red carpet.
