Vincenzo Jon-Luca Lauretta (@vincnezo_stylist) is the hairdesigner/colorist behind the hair of the ever gorg make up artist Stephanie Lee (@beautbylee). Here he offers the cocktail he uses to create her dimensional finish featuring a fun pop of highlights. The haircolor is a natural level 4 and the two artists agree on a desired level 7 1/2.
Step 1: Blend Schwarzkopf 20g 8-1 + 15g 9-1 with equal parts 30 volume developer. Apply to root area.
Step 2: Apply to the ends: 10-1 (Demi Schwarzkopf with 4% peroxide)
Step 3: Balayage with gentle 10 vol lightner (Schwarzkopf bleach) and balayage
For the haircut, Lauretta did what he refers to as "the big/chop. I love beautybylees curls," he says. "I love her face shape so I created a petite pixie cut that suited both those lovely curls and to show off that stunning face."
