Metallic hair is here to stay! We have an exclusive peek at how to achieve this mauve metallic colormelt created by Instagram superstar and master colorist @PresleyPoe using Pravana ColorLush.
To achieve this color, @PresleyPoe started the process by pre-applying equal parts Pravana Violets Express Toner and Pearl Express Toner to create a metallic base with a silvery finish.
Then, she mixed together these three formulas:
Formula 1: Equal parts 3V, 5V and ¼ Clear
Formula 2: 3V, 5V and ¾ Clear
Formula 3: ColorLush 9V and Clear
After mixing the formulas, she sectioned the hair into four general quadrants and created a 2 to 3 inch shadow root using Formula 1.
Then, @PresleyPoe shows you how to apply Formulas 2 and 3 and how she melts them together to create a perfectly blended colormelt.
Since she used ColorLush, you can process the hair for a full 20 minutes or until you reach your desired tone.
