At the premiere of her new film The Heat, Sandra Bullock rocked some serious by elegantly subtle texture and polish. Here’s how KMS California Artistic Director Sonna Brado would re-create this look in three steps.
TRY IT: First, prep the hair for heat styling and frizz reduction during the blow drying stage by applying KMS California Freeshape Hot Flex Crème, then smoothing lotion, and round brush the hair for volume and shine. Finish with a cool blast of air. Second, take diagonal back sections and curl away from the face by holding each section and winding the hair around a large barrel iron starting at mid-shaft and leaving the last 2-3 inches straight – don’t let go of the ends of the hair! Third, after the hair is curled, use fingers to rake through and break apart.
