Matrix colorist Sharon Peake of Ethos Hairdressing in Manchester, England used Schwarzkopf color to create her “Soundwave” technique that complements the perfect geometric cut by Ethos and Matrix stylist Adam Bryant. This hair color look is an entry for the Schwarzkopf Colour Technician of the Year at the British Hairdressing Awards.
STEP 1: Apply Schwarzkopf Blondme with six percent developer to the regrowth and with three percent on the med lengths to lift existing gold tones. Apply Blondeme toning Cream and Ice with two percent developer for three minutes.
STEP 2: Blow dry hair forward from the crown.
STEP 3: Take a very fine veil section at the crown and starting from the sections closest to the hairline, use a brush to apply equal parts Schwarzkopf Igora Royal 5-0 and 6-4 with three percent developer brushing the hair in the direction of the finished style.
STEP 4: The last two sections around the head are faded into the blond with Igora 6-0 and 7-4 with three percent developer.
