Fitting for a casual or more elegant occassion, this "tuck and roll" style created by Peter Gray at Badgley Mischka is a must try for the autumn into holiday seasons. Here, Sam Villa, founding partner of the Sam Villa brand and education artistic director for Redken 5th Avenue, provides a step-by-step on how to achieve this look:

STEP 2: Tap the Sam Villa Textur Texturizing Iron down the length of the strands to texturize the entire head.

STEP 3: Brush with to smooth out hair.

STEP 4: Use a wide cutting comb to comb hair off the face and naturally split.

STEP 5: Secure a loose, low ponytail with a clear elastic – leave at least three inches from the nape to create shape.

STEP 6: Using fingers, create a separation in the ponytail between the nape and the secured portion of the ponytail.

STEP 7: Form a peace sign with the index and middle fingers, place the ponytail through the open section and pull the length of the tail up and over creating a beautiful curved fold in the ponytail. Leave the length out or repeat the process until all hair is in a bun and secure with a long hairpin.

STEP 8: Finish with a light control hair spray.
