Colorist Shonda Broadus (@ShondaBroadus) sent us how-to steps to this beautiful pastel silver, pink and purple hair color. Inspired by the twilight sky, Broadus used Schwarzkopf Professionalhair color to achieve this look.
THE COLOR STEPS:
STEP 1: "I began by using Schwarzkopf Igora Bleach and 30 volume on her roots. Once her roots started to lift, I then used Schwarzkopf 0-00 and 20 vol on the midshaft and ends. (The model's "before" hair was pre-lightened with a faded hint of blue.)
STEP 2: "I let the hair process for 25 mintues."
STEP 3: "After shampooing,rinsing and drying ( up to 85% dry), I applied my pastels in an order I created just for this type of look (as you can see in the photos, pink was applied to the top and blended into the silver at the ends). I chose to use Pravana Pastel Haircolor in Violet, Silver, Pink and Clear.
STEP 4: "I processed her hair at room temperature for 15 minutes then rinsed, conditioned and styled with VERB ghost oil."
