Farouk Systems Creative Director Patrick Kalle took his model from sleek sophistication to vixenish volume with one tool, one set and the proper products. The DURA CHI Curling Iron (1 1/4 inch barrel) was the styling tool of choice for Kalle. Transform any client from tame to tantalizing with these easy-to-follow instructions from CHI.
SMOOTH STYLE STEPS:
Color Formula:
CHI Ionic Permanent Shine Hair Color 6C + 10-volume CHI Generator
Step 1. Make a side part and begin curling with the DURA CHI Curling Iron (1 ½ inch barrel). Take horizontal partings while you curl each section from temple to temple and set with clips.
Step 2. Continue with horizontal partings pivoting around the crown then curl the remaining hair in the back under. After curls have cooled, release the hair and spray with Farouk Royal Treatment Rapid Shine.
Step 3. Gently loosen the curls with a large detangling comb to separate, followed by a large paddle brush to smooth. Finish the look with Farouk Royal Treatment Ultimate Control Hairspray.

1, 2 AND 3 STEPS FROM ABOVE
Step 4. Spray with BioSilk Volumizing Therapy Hairspray and separate the ends of the curls with your fingers. Elevate the front section 90 degrees and spray with BioSilk Volumizing Therapy Hairspray. For added volume sprinkle BioSilk Volumizing Therapy Texturizing Powder and massage into the roots.
