Inglot Cosmetics announces an exciting new opportunity for makeup artists at all levels to showcase their true artistry by participating in a body painting competition using Inglot cosmetics to turn a live model into a masterpiece.
The winner of the competition will receive a trip to New York and a chance to showcase his or her work at the Inglot booth during IMATS NY, the world’s biggest makeup gathering. This competition will offer makeup artists across the country the opportunity to use their craft with limitless creativity, no matter what their skill or experience. Not only is this a chance for a tremendous bump in national exposure for winning artists, but it is also a chance to partner with one of the world’s leading cosmetic brands.
Submissions are being taken from October 1 2014 to October 26. Of these contestants, twelve semi-finalists will be chosen to compete and perform their artwork on a live model at every Inglot store. All semi-final body paintings have to be photographed and submitted to compete for one of the six final places where they will be judged by a panel of five international Inglot professional makeup artists from around the world. The top six will then share their pieces via social media where the general public will determine the winner. The live competition will be held from November 1, 2014 to January 31, 2015 at participating Inglot stores in Las Vegas, New York, New Jersey, Florida and other locations across the U.S.
The winners will be announced March 16, 2015. The first place winner will receive a trip to New York, including airfare, to showcase his or her work at the Inglot booth during IMATS NY. Second prize is $300 in Inglot products and third prize is $150 in Inglot products.
