Soak up the color education at this fall's premium color event, Color America with Beth Minardi.

If you haven't attended a previous Color America with Beth Minardi, chances are you've heard the rave reviews from those who have.
On October 20-23, Color America will return to Chicago with a line-up that includes Tohmas Elmlund and Mark Mileti of Minardi Salon, Nancy Braun of the Christophe of Beverly Hills and Roy Teeluck salons and independent colorist Myrian Touma.
We spoke with these participants for a preview of the kind of insider info dispensed at the event.
Celeb stylist Mileti says, "I've always been a fan of multi-dimensional brunettes. I use lots of different foils for tint backs resulting in strong cinnamon brunettes and deep warm gingers." These favorite palettes are evident in Maleti's on-screen looks for actresses Rachel McAdams and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Also an artist, Mileti is inspired by visits to New York City's art museums.
Elmlund loves red. "Red is such a beautiful challenge and you can expect to see my latest take on the shade on stage at Color America."
Elmlund joined Minardi Salon after being inspired by Beth's educational classes and newsletters. "She puts power back in the hands of the colorist. Every client gets a fresh approach and an individual formula," he says.

Touma is a former member of Team Minardi who is returning in October as a guest speaker. Touma excels at color corrections and believes "corrections are a positive change for the client and make me feel like I've made a difference."
Braun is a bi-coastal colorist who gets her inspiration from the stylish clients in her two base cities of New York and Los Angeles. She currently prefers warm chestnuts, caramel browns and golden blondes. "Lately, I've been doing a lot of warm blondes with Nordic blonde interspersed to cool it down," says Braun.
Why did Braun join Color America? "Beth," she says. "It's really that simple-just Beth."
Color America with Beth Minardi is presented by Modern Salon Media and Cosmetologists Chicago with manufacturer sponsors Clairol Professional, Keune, L'Oréal Professionnel, Redken and Wella.
