Ready Set, Go Books by Jeff Grissler

Jeff Grissler has written five books guiding salon owners to financial success. His latest book "Ready, Set, Go, A Salon Owner's Guide to Wealth" just hit the market. Jeff stopped by Modern's booth at America's Beauty Show to give us some tips covered in the book.

1. SPEND TIME DESIGNING THE RETAIL AREA: "Most salon owners spend more time working on the styling area. It doesn't take a lot of money or space to createa profitable and attractive retail space."

2. LEARN HOW TO SELL TO MEN: "Men need to touch, feel and try a product. Stylists must educate and

guide the male client. This will not only help to sell products and services, but it will be build trust."

3. SPEND TIME WITH SALESPEOPLE: "Spend more time with the sales person who comes in the salon. That person is your educator. Use those salespeople as a guide and learn from them."
